Not too dissimilar from its predecessor, the Stihl MS880, the MS881 chainsaw now features a 2-MIX engine which is compliant to EU5 emissions regulations. As well as offering high power performance, the 2-mix engine also gives efficient fuel usage without compromise to power.

The Stihl MS881 petrol saw comes with a 30″ / 75cm bar & chain which offers excellent power to weight ratio and has the power and performance for the most demanding jobs. Fitted with a HD2 filter which has finer pores and traps even finer dust to ensure a long filter service life, the sprocket cover on side features captive nuts making it easy to change the chain.

Featuring a Diagnostic socket which can aid fixes., the user can access usage data such as engine speed, operating time and service data. This diagnostic socket an act as taco metre and can also diagnose electrical errors quickly and easily.

A decompression valve is present on the MS 881 saw, the valve should be pressed before starting the saw to reduce the compression pressure resulting in an easier start up with less effort needed to pull the starter rope. The decompression valve is semi automatic, it will need to be pressed before starting, but them automatic clicks off once started.

The anti vibration handle on the MS881 allows for any intense vibrations are dampened to significantly reduce wear on the users hands. A variable oil pump options allows you to adjust the flow of chain oil dependent on the material you are cutting.Specification
