Stihl MS661 C-M 28″ Petrol Chainsaw

The Stihl MS661 chainsaw is the successor to the MS660 which is used in the legendary competition – Stihl TimberSports Series. Designed with a powerful 91.1cc petrol engine, this professional mid-range MS661 chainsaw offers an engine output of 5.4kw with a 28″ / 71cm bar length that weighs 7.4kg. This chainsaw has been re-developed and is now characterised by its high power and lower vibration levels (20-25% lower than the MS660!).

Designed for use by professionals within forestry and big timber harvesting, this chainsaw has been built with a decompression valve and an IntelliCarb™ compensating carburettor, the unit offers reliable, easy starting and professional quality. Featuring a newly designed oil pump system where the user can adjust the oil delivery rate meaning you can increase the flow rate when working with long cutting attachments or dry wood.

Featuing the fully electronic M-Tronic engine management technologu for optimal engine management. This controls the fuel supply and automatically adapts to operating and ambient conditions. The memory function of the chainsaw allows you to quickly pick up where you left off after a break in work with no need to adjust the settings by hand.

The featured chain is an Oilomatic™ 3/8″ Rapid Super chain which sits upon the Stihl Rollomatic E guide bar for optimal cutting performance. The MS661C-M has been designed with a side access chain tensioner and automatic bar oiler and a double bumper spike which allows the user to have excellent control when bucking and felling.

Comes with Rollomatic E guide bar, not with the Rollomatic ES as pictured.
