Description
The STIHL FS 91 C-E is a robust petrol brushcutter that’s ideal for landscape maintenance. It is powered by a STIHL 28.4cc 4-MIX® engine and has a power output of 1.3hp and is fitted with a bike handle that makes clearance jobs a breeze.
While the STIHL FS91 is a 2-stroke machine, it has a specially developed 4-MIX® engine. The STIHL 4-MIX® engine, which runs on a fuel-oil mix just like a 2-stroke, offers all the benefits without the compromises of 4-stroke power. STIHL 4-MIX® engine technology provides fast acceleration, more power, added torque, lower noise, reduced emissions and increased fuel efficiency to complete jobs quickly, quietly and more easily.
The FS 91 also takes advantage of the STIHL Anti-Vibration system, when working for long periods of time intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHLs Anti-Vibration system dampens the oscillations from the machines engine which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
This petrol brush cutter is easy to start thanks to the decompression system, the decompression valve allows some of the compression pressure in the cylinder to escape, so less force on the starter rope is needed. Additionally, a small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required following extended breaks in operations. This robust machine has a rigid shaft and has benefits such as simplified starting and a control handle with a stop button ensuring ease of use.
Controlling the FS 91 couldn’t be easier thanks to the easy, comfortable thumb-operated control on the bike handle. The bike handle allows the machine to be easily guided, in a side-to-side swaying action, making it ideal for working on large areas and thus reducing fatigue. The bike handles can be adjusted to suit the user via a tool-free clamp.
Another great feature is the large 0.71l fuel tank which allows you to work for longer periods without stopping to re-fuel.
This model is supplied as standard with an AutoCut C26-2 mowing head, GrassCut 230-2 metal blade, blade fitting kit and an ADVANCE universal double shoulder harness.
