The STIHL MSA 70 C-B is a lightweight, powerful cordless chainsaw designed for domestic users. Ideal for garden maintenance, pruning, logging firewood, and cutting small trees. Powered by the STIHL AK battery system, it delivers quiet performance, low maintenance, zero harmful emissions and cutting power that rivals that of a petrol chainsaw.

An upgrade from the popular MSA 140 C-B, this model features a compact, ergonomic design with excellent balance and handling for comfortable use. Safety and convenience are built in with Quick Chain Tensioning for tool-free adjustments of the chain and the QuickStop Super chain brake offers maximum protection while working to help protect the user against kickback.

The soft-grip handle, low vibrations and transparent oil tank make operation effortless and user-friendly. Equipped with a 12” bar and chain, the ¼” PM3 saw chain and variable speed control, the MSA 70 C-B ensures precision, clean cuts, and great performance across a range of garden tasks.

Recommended for use with the AK 30 S battery (sold separately), this chainsaw will run for approximately 45 minutes complete 210 cuts on a single charge.
