The STIHL MSA 300 stands out as the most powerful cordless chainsaw in STIHL’s AP Battery System, delivering an impressive 3.0kW of brushless motor power which is the equivalent to the MS261 C-M 50.1cc petrol counterpart. Designed for professional use in forestry, agriculture, landscaping, and construction, it offers the performance of a petrol saw with the convenience of battery power.

With three selectable operating modes, you can tailor power and chain speed to the task:
• Eco Mode (20 m/s) – energy efficient, ideal for smaller logs.
• All-round/Felling Mode (24 m/s) – versatile power for felling, cutting to length, and general tasks.
• Delimbing Mode (30 m/s) – maximum speed and performance for tough jobs.

The MSA 300 delivers advanced features in a remarkably ergonomic and durable design it is built to handle demanding conditions. Ergonomically balanced with a lightweight design weighing in at only 5.4 kg, the MSA 300 ensures maximum comfort even during extended periods of use. It comes with equipped with a 14″ Light 04 guide bar and RS3 Pro chain for precision cutting as standard which can be swapped for a 16” or 18” bar (sold separately) if you need a longer bar. The adjustable oil pump allows you to control chain lubrication, while the fleece air filter with integrated cooling maintains consistent performance with dust protection.

Recommended for use with the Stihl AP 500 S battery (sold separately) which offer a 20 – 44 minute run time off a single charge dependant on chosen cutting mode, this battery has approximately 253 charging cycles per year (253 working days, excluding weekends and bank holidays in UK) giving is an approximate lifespan of 10 years without loss of capacity!
