The Stihl MS462C-M petrol chainsaw is the lightest high performance saw in the 70cc class of saws. Offering easy manoeuvrability and lightweight design, the Stihl MS462C-M is built for professional forestry workers for felling trees, along with de-liming medium and high density strands.
The Stihl MS462 C-M chainsaw boasts a reliable 72.2cc 2-stroke petrol engine with an impressive 4.4kW power output. Designed to deliver high power, the MS 462 C-M saw offers excellent power to weight ratio and is fitted with a 20″ / 50cm Rollomatic ES Light guide bar and 3/8″ Rapid Super chainsaw chain, which offers excellent cutting performance.
This Stihl forestry saw has an economical Stihl 2-MIX engine which provides reduced fuel consumption by up to 20% and reduced exhaust emissions by up to 50% compared to a standard Stihl two stroke engine.Coupled with M-Tronic technology, the Stihl chainsaw delivers and efficient performance without compromising on power. M-Tronic technology takes into consideration he working conditions such as fuel quality, temperature and altitude to deliver consistent performance.
Featuring an anti-vibration system which allows you to use the saw in comfort, even during longer periods of time. The new design is more manoeuvrable with less gyroscopic force on acceleration, making it much easier to control at all times. At just 6kg the MS462C-M 20″ is suitable for professional users to complete a range of demanding felling, pruning jobs.
For everyday easy maintenance, the long-life HD2 filter has an oil and water repellent surface and can be easily cleaned whilst the captive nuts on the sprocket cover make it easier for regular bar and chain maintenance.
