The lightest high performance saw in the 70cc capacity, this Stihl MS462C-M petrol chainsaw boasts a 72.2cc 2-stroke petrol engine with an impressive 4.4kW power output. Reliable and powerful, this forestry saw has an economical Stihl 2-MIX engine which coupled with M-Tronic technology delivers efficient performance without compromising on power. The M-Tronic technology takes into consideration the external conditions such as temperature, altitude and fuel quality, and it adjusts the ignition timing and fuel metering for optimal running conditions.
Fitted with a 18″ / 45cm Rollomatic guide bar with a 3/8″ Rapid Super chainsaw chain which delivers excellent cutting performance. The Stihl MS462C-M is built with professional users in mind for forestry work such as felling and de-limbing in medium density and high density strands.
Designed with an anti-vibration system allowing the user to comfortably use this chainsaw for extended periods of time without fatigue. With a new design, this Stihl chainsaw is more manoeuvrable with less gyroscopic force on acceleration, making it much easier to control at all times. At just 6kg the MS462C-M is suitable for professional users to complete a range of demanding felling, pruning jobs.
For everyday maintenance, the long-life HD2 filter features an oil and water repellent surface and can be easily cleaned, whilst the captive nuts on the sprocket cover make it easier for regular bar and chain maintenance.
