The Stihl MS251 petrol chainsaw is ideal for ground maintenance and felling small to medium trees, featuring a large 18″ guide bar with .325″ RM3 Pro chain for precise and efficient chainsaw cutting on a range of tasks. Built with all the same great features of the MS251 chainsaw with the addition of Stihl Ergo Start, Quick Chain Tensioning and Primer Bulb. For excellent chain lubrication, the chainsaw comes with E-Matic chain lubrication. this ensures oil is maximum lubrication to the saw chain links and guide bar rails for longer wear and less oil consumption, for best results use Stihl Oilmatic chains.
With excellent control, the MS251CB-E chainsaw has perfect power to weight ratio, ideal for a range of cutting tasks at all levels. The chainsaw comes with a powerful 45.6cc 2-MIX petrol 2 stroke engine which cuts emissions by 70% and has a fuel consumption of up to 20% less than a standard 2 stroke engine. ErgoStart is featured on the MS251CB-E model which offers easier pulling of the recoil and offers easier starting.
The Stihl MS 251 18″ chainsaw comes with an anti-vibration system which removes intense vibrations from the handles, the engine oscillations are dampened by the anti-vibration mounts for a comfortable user experience over prolonged periods of time.
For easier maintenance, the MS251CB-E chainsaw comes with Quick Chain Tensioner which is side mounted and has a simple flip lock and thumb screw so you can adjusted the chain to the required tension without the need for a combi spanner. Tool free filler caps are also fitted to this model of chain saw, removing the need for tools when opening and locking the fuel and oil caps. The chainsaw features a pre-separation air filter system which achieves longer filter life.
