Stihl MS 201 C-M Petrol Chainsaw
With a lightweight and compact design, the Stihl MS201C-M chainsaw is the lightest Stihl professional petrol chainsaw. Designed to be agile and lightweight, the Stihl MS201C-M chainsaw offers precision cutting for the demanding users such as forestry workers, gardeners and landscapers while harvesting thin wood, limbing and tending to young strands.
The Stihl MS201C-M has had an upgrade and now features a new cylinder, piston and exhaust for excellent running performance. Within the upgrade is the M-Tronic 3.0 engine management system. M-Tronic provides simple starting, outstanding acceleration, memory function, low maintenance and top engine performance at all times. This fully electronic engine management system automatically regulates the ignition timing and fuel metering and takes into consideration external factors such as temperature, altitude and fuel quality to ensure your chainsaw performs to the best of its ability.
Fitted with a 14″ / 35cm Rollomatic E guide bar and a 3/8″ P Picco Super chainsaw chain, the MS201 C-M offers excellent cutting capabilities. The 2-MIX two-stroke 35.2cc petrol engine offers up to 20% lower fuel consumption with up to 70% reduction in exhaust emissions compared with a Stihl 2-Stroke engine while offering the same great power and performance.
For comfort the Stihl MS201C-M saw comes with great features such as anti-vibration mounts to minimise vibration at the handles. Variable oil pump on this model allows you to get a precise delivery of chain oil dependant on the type of wood being cut. ElastoStart ensure a smooth pull of the recoil by reducing the shock caused by the compression of the engine during starting.
Tool-less filler caps are fitted, along with captive nuts on the side sprocket casing eliminating the risk of losing your nuts while changing the bar or chain. Tensioning the chain on this model of chainsaw is easily accessed from the side casing, removing the need for contact with the saws sharp chain.
