Stihl HSA50 Cordless Hedge Trimmer Kit

The Stihl HSA50 hedge trimmer offers the homeowner quiet and effortless hedge trimming around the garden. Powered by the AK compact range of batteries, the HSA50 comes with a large 50cm / 20″ cutting blade which is doubled sided and features a screw on tip protector to help protect the tip from accidental damage when trimming close to the ground, walls or fences. The doubled sided blades feature teardrop shaped teeth which help grasp the hedge, leaving you with a perfectly clean cut and a healthy hedge.

Easy to use, the HSA50 hedge trimmer is fitted with a on/off trigger with interlock on the rear handle and a newly designed in handle switch on the front loop handle which is easy and comfortable to grip while working. Both the trigger and loop handle switch have to be engaged at the same time for the hedge trimmer to work, so there is no risk of accidental start up.

Lightweight at just 2.9kg (without battery) the hedge trimmer is perfectly balanced and has been designed with low noise levels, so you can use this model for long periods of time in complete comfort. When used with the AK 10 battery supplied this hedge trimmer can trim for up to 40 minutes, with the optional AK 20 battery 80 minutes and with the AK30 battery up to 140 minutes on a single charge. Meaning you can work for longer without the need to stop and re-charge.

*Please note this machine is only suitable for use with Compact battery range it is NOT suitable for use with any other Stihl battery.
