Well-balanced and lightweight, the STIHL HSA 40 hedge trimmer features 20″ / 50 cm double-sided cutting blades designed to deliver efficient performance for domestic users with smaller gardens. Compatible with the AS range of lithium-ion batteries, it offers up to 80 minutes of runtime per charge.

The double-sided blades provide a clean, precise cut with a 24 mm tooth spacing, and a tip protector helps prevent damage when trimming close to the ground or along walls. The blades are laser-cut, diamond-ground and hardened for long-lasting durability.

For comfortable and safe operation, the HSA 40 includes two ergonomic handles with soft-grip surfaces and a double safety switch, ensuring the tool only operates when all three triggers are engaged. A convenient battery level indicator on the side of the housing lets you easily check the remaining charge.
