Stihl FSA400 battery powered clearing saw offers exceptional performance for demanding, professional users. This Stihl clearing saw offers versatility as it can be used with a range of cutting tools, it comes with the AutoCut 46-2 mowing head as standard which an be swapped out for the TrimCut, DuroCut, PolyCut heads, along with the option of fitting blades such as GrassCut, BrushCut, ShredCut shredder blades and WoodCut circular saw blades for tackling tough cutting.

With power and performance to rival the petrol Stihl FS411 clearing saw, the FS400 is well balanced and with adjustable bike handles to give you complete control and comfort while clearing large areas. With zero direct emissions, the Stihl clearing saw offers low maintenance requirements and low noise levels making it ideal for working in noise sensitive areas such as schools, public parks and residential areas.

A powerful EC motor give instant power which can be set to 3 difference speed levels depending on the work, the speed can also be adjusted on the control handle giving you full control. The Automatic RPM adjustment helps with energy to work efficiently as the RPM will increase while is it used with a BrushCut blade or PolyCut head and will reduced when it is used with a AutoCut mowing head.

Fitted to the FSA400 brush cutter is the Stihl anti vibration system which reduces vibrations and provides more comfortable working experience. A 10 point mounting rail is fitted to the handle of the clearing saw to allow a harness (not supplied) to be fastened to a position to suit each user. A removeable air filter housing allows you easy access to the air filter to keep it clean and in top working condition.

Body Only machine, The FSA400 clearing saw is recommended for use with the AP500S battery, which provides 40 min run time with PolyCut head and 25 minutes run time with the AutoCut 46-2 mowing head.

Please note to use this item with a blade, you will need to ensure you are using the correct guard blade type dependant for example Wood Cut and Shredder Blades may require a different guard.
