Stihl FR460 RC-EFM 2-Stroke Backpack Brushcutter
Designed for mowing jobs which requires moving from area to area over large ares which can be difficult to access. As the brushcutter is back mounted the weight of the machine is easily spread across your body eliminating fatigue of the arms. This brushcutter also features an anti vibration system which reduces fatigue whilst the padded harness makes wearing this Stihl brushcutter very comfortable for a more enjoyable working experience, even during long periods of use. The multi function control handle allows for comfortable thumb operated control so your hand never has to leave the handle giving a better grip and maximum safety.
Powered by a 48.7cc 2-mix M-tronic engine which takes all external conditions into account making automatic carburetor adjustments to suit the working conditions. This engine allows the machine to start much quicker and will immediately get up to speed even after a cold start. The 2-mix feature gives a higher power output and excellent torque levels whilst reducing fuel consumption by up to 20% compared to the equivalent 2-stroke machine.
As the brushcutter is carried on your back, Stihl have added the ElectroStart function to this FR460TC-EFM which turns the machine on by pushing a button rather than having to remove from your back to start each time. The battery for this starter charges itself up during operation of the brushcutter so the machine is always ready to start when you are. You also don’t need to control the stop button when restarting.
The shaft of this Stihl brush cutter is easily detaches without the use of tools allowing for easy storage and transport. Comes complete with a tool back with 2 compartments which easily attaches to the universal or forestry harness to carry tools.
