Description
The Mountfield SP42 is a self-propelled 4 wheeled mower built with a steel cutter deck and 41cm cutting width. It has the same specifications as the Mountfield HP42 but with a self-propel drive.
Self-propelled or power drive lawn mowers have a drive system which propels the mower along at a comfortable travelling speed. The SP 42 has a single speed so stays at the one speed.
The rotary cut Mountfield SP42 has some great features including wheels with ball bearings. mulching plug and 60L fabric grass collector. Fabric grass collectors let air circulate through the clippings for more efficient collecting.
Choose the best cutting height for the working conditions from 6 positions which can be adjusted from 22 – 65mm. Start at the highest setting (65mm) then work down to the lowest (22mm) for the best cut and finish to the lawn. A single lever adjusts the height quickly.
The Mountfield ST120 engine delivers great performance and fuel economy on the SP42.
