Every Cobra lawnmower has been expertly designed in the U.K to cater specifically for the changing conditions of the British lawn.
With exceptional performance and style, the Cobra M40CVX 16″ petrol lawnmower is powered by a Cobra DG500 series engine and is hand propelled for complete user freedom.
The Cobra DG500 engine provides reliable and smooth performance and offers enhanced power. Featuring advanced OHV technology and Euro 5 compliance, it gives cleaner emissions and improved fuel efficiency, all while maintaining excellent durability.
With a cutting width of 40cm / 16″, the Cobra M40CVX lawnmower also has 7 adjustable cutting heights ranging from 25mm for a superb low finish, up to 75mm for tackling longer grass. All this is achieved by simply using the single height of cut adjustment lever. Depending on the height of your grass, you can easily and efficiently adjust the cutting height to suit.
In addition to its robust, high quality steel deck & rotary cutting blade, a standout feature of the Cobra M40CVX mower is its new deck design with a volute-shaped VorteX airflow system. This boosts grass collection by powerfully lifting & packing clippings into the bag, even in damp or dense conditions, while preventing clogging and ensuring a clean, even cut, with a front grass comb ensuring a neat finish.
The Cobra M40CVX also features a folding handlebar making it easy to put away after use, saving precious space & ensuring safe, compact storage.
This Cobra machine is shipped without oil in the machine. Within the packaging there will be a sealed bottle of oil that must be decanted into your unit before the machine is started. Further information can be found in the operators manual. Please read this before starting. Failure to fill your machine with oil will result in a catastrophic failure that will not be covered under warranty.
New E10 Fuel & your Cobra
As you may be aware the current grade of petrol has recently changed in the UK to E10. E10 has been used in mainland Europe for some time & there have not been any major problems reported with its use in lawn mowers & garden tools.
We would however recommend the following to prolong the life of your Cobra:
- At the end of the season, or if you’re not going to use your Cobra for a long period of time, drain or run the fuel tank dry
- If you’re using E10 use Briggs & Stratton Fuel Fit additive
- You can always opt for Premium Unleaded fuel
