Every Cobra chipper has been expertly designed in the U.K to cater specifically for the changing conditions of the British garden.
The Cobra CHIP650LE is a petrol wood chipper with electric start. It is small and compact but powerful enough to easily shred branches up to 80mm / 3″ diameter.
The Cobra CHIP650LE is powered by a 4-stroke 6.5hp Loncin engine and features an electric start. Loncin provides global customers with comprehensive general power solutions and serves as a supplier of professional low-carbon complete power product and service.
The Cobra CHIP650LE petrol chipper comes equipped with a unique hinged chute. The unique hinged design of the chute allows easy access to the twin, reversible blades. The slender design, large wheels and well balanced construction allows the chipper to be manoeuvred easily.
In addition to the unique chute design the CHIP650LE is packed of features including an hour meter and emergency safety brake while PPE (eye protection, ear defenders and gloves) is also included with the chipper, as is a protective cover.
This Cobra machine is shipped without oil in the machine. Within the packaging there will be a sealed bottle of oil that must be decanted into your unit before the machine is started. Further information can be found in the operators manual. Please read this before starting. Failure to fill your machine with oil will result in a catastrophic failure that will not be covered under warranty.
New E10 Fuel & your Cobra
As you may be aware the current grade of petrol has recently changed in the UK to E10. E10 has been used in mainland Europe for some time & there have not been any major problems reported with its use in lawn mowers & garden tools.
We would however recommend the following to prolong the life of your Cobra:
- At the end of the season, or if you’re not going to use your Cobra for a long period of time, drain or run the fuel tank dry
- If you’re using E10 use Briggs & Stratton Fuel Fit additive
- You can always opt for Premium Unleaded fuel
